The “Integral” video.

Clike here to view it. (Quicktime. When a copy shows up on YouTube or DailyMotion I’ll place it here as well.)

Thanks, as usual, to PopJustice.com, who get the press releases, post the links, and report on the whole “secret hidden barcode” thing.

5 Versions of “Always on my mind.” (So, I’m a day late. Sorry, Dead Elvis.)

Original version “performed” during the
Love Me Tender special for ITV

Live, MCMLXXXIX Tour.

Live in Rio, 1994.

Live at Glastonbury, 2000
(Tennant sounds awful on this one.
His voice must have been shot from touring.)

Live in Mexico, from Cubism.

Video: “I get along / E-mail.”

The Bruce Weber videos always follow the same pattern, but I enjoy them anyway. There’s nothing at all wrong with watching attractive people be attractive, and the way it combines one of the better Release-era songs with just enough of the too-cloying-in-full “E-mail” is very nice indeed.

“Suburbia,” as covered by West End Girls.

Lights, Models, Guest List.

Hi there. My name’s Kevin Church, and I’m a Pet Shop Boys fan. That’s why I’ve decided to create this blog, where I’ll explore the band’s work, including their albums, singles, concerts, videos, remixes, etc. There are plenty of web-based resources to the band out there, but I’d like to think I’ll be bringing a unique spin on things, hopefully avoiding the alienating, obsessive behavior that keeps me (and others, I presume) away from the forums.

My first “major” project will most likely be a trawl through the singles, starting with “West End girls” and progressing forward from there, beginning later this week. With that in mind, here’s a video featuring the first-ever “live” performance by Pet Shop Boys, wherein they mime the Bobby Orlando-produced version of “West End girls” for a Belgian audience.
